These terms govern your use of the Asilak app and this website. By downloading, installing or using Asilak, you agree to them. Asilak is provided by [Legal entity name] ("Asilak", "we", "us").
Your licence to use Asilak
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Asilak for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except as the law expressly permits. Content you create or import remains yours; you are responsible for having the right to use any material you import.
One-time purchase, no subscription
Asilak is sold as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Once you buy it, you keep it on the platform where you bought it.
Free 30-day trial
You may use Asilak free for 30 days to decide whether it fits your goal. After the trial, a one-time purchase is required to continue. The trial and any purchase are handled by the store you use — the Apple App Store or Google Play, or Stripe for Windows, Linux and the web.
Payments and refunds
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to that store's payment and refund terms; refund requests for those purchases are handled by the store. Purchases made through our website or desktop apps are processed by Stripe and are subject to the refund terms stated at checkout and to any non-waivable consumer rights you have under local law.
Platform-bound entitlement
Your purchase is tied to the platform store where you bought it. In this version, a purchase on one platform does not transfer to another. Your decks and study data are portable: you can move them between platforms and devices using the app's export and import features.
Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the app or set up a new device using the same app-store account, you can restore your purchase at no additional cost.
Your data and backups
Your learning data is stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own cloud account. We do not hold a copy. Keeping your own backups and exports is your responsibility; we are not able to recover data we never receive. How we handle the little data that does reach us is described in our Privacy Policy.
As-is, no warranty
Asilak is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including loss of data. Because your data is stored on your device, keeping your own backups is your responsibility. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves or the law changes. We will revise the "last updated" date above and give notice of material changes. Continuing to use Asilak after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be determined], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without depriving you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
